The 2nd Korean American Adaptive Sports Festival (2024)
Dates: July 14-15, 2024
Venue : Elicott City, MD
Participation: Approximately 800 participants, including athletes from 14 regions across the Americas and the Gyeonggi Province Disabled Sports Association.
Key Contents
- Compete in 15 sports - 9 official sports (athletics, tennis, swimming, taekwondo, table tennis, golf, boccia, bowling, Korean archery)
6 demonstration sports (cornhole, frisbee, soccer long kick, shill, screen shooting, and 5-a-side soccer)
- Congratulatory messages from President Joe Biden, Ambassador to the U.S. Cho Hyun-dong, and others.
- Dallas won the overall championship, Maryland took second, and New Jersey took third (Dallas took first, Atlanta took second, and New Jersey took third in the standings).
- Player MVPs were selected for players 15 and under - Kim Min-jae (New Jersey), Lee Yu (Virginia), and for players 16 and over - Jang Jae-rud (San Francisco), Lee Dan-bi (Kansas).

Five demonstration events (cornhole, frisbee, soccer ball kicking, screen shooting, arm wrestling), and family games (table tennis, arm wrestling, screen shooting)Main contents
- Maryland ranked first overall, Houston second, and Dallas third.
- It was the first festival in American immigration history where disabled people from the United States gathered together, and it contributed to the revitalization of disabled sports.
