재미대한체육회 창립목적 (Our Mission)

미주 동포 사회 장애인의 생활 체육활동을 활성화 한다.

To stimulate life sports for disabled in the Korean American society.

장애인 체육단체 관리지도를 통해 직접적 체육교류를 발전시킨다.

To contribute directly to Para sports organizations through self-practice and sports.

장애인 경기인을 양성하여 체육문화발전에 기여함을 목적으로 한다.

To cultivate disabled athletes and contribute to the development of Para sports

미주 한인동포의 체육활동참여를 적극적으로 도모하여 한인커뮤니티의 결속력을 강화 시킨다.

To strengthen the cohesion of Korean American community through active participation in Para sports.

미주내 한인으로써의 자부심과 자긍심을 일깨워주는 중요한 매게체로서의 역활을 한다.

To serve as a medium to evoke self-esteem/pride in Koreans living in America.

첫눈에 볼수 있는 것은 장애인의 대표적인 상징인 휠체어를 탄 선수로 재미 동포 장애인을 나타낸다.

At first glance you can notice the athlete on a wheelchair that symbolize the Korean American disabled.

내부의 원형은 대한장애인체육회 로고로써 재미 대한 장애인 체육회와의 화함을 나타낸다.

The inner circle is the logo for Korean Paralympic Committee and symbolize the unity of the two organizations.

외부원형은 하나된 재미동포사회를 나타내며 2개의 원사이에 있는 연결고리는 재미 대한 장애인 체육회와 재미 동포사회가 하나되어 움직인다는 것을 나타낸다

The outer circle of the Korean Paralympic Committee represents the unity of the Korean American society with the two chains between the circle signifying the organization moving with the society as one.

휠체어를 타고 있는 장애인 복장의 별문양은 재미 동포 장애인 체육인을 대표하여 흩날리는 미래와 뒤로 힘차게 뻩은 팔은 자신감 넘치는 재미 동포 장애인의 그칠줄 모르는 열정을 나타낸다.

The athlete on the wheelchair with the stars and stripes outfit stands for the Korean American disabled with his arm stretched backwards confidently springing into the future with endless passion.

외부 팔각형 테두리나 재미 대한 체육회의 휘장은 안정된 재미대한 장애인 체육회의 모습이다.

The outer octagon border with Korea Para Sports Association insignia represents the stability of the organization.
